Someone may come into our lives that makes us feel complete. But it is often only for a short time. People change, both people change, so that what makes a person's life feel complete today may tomorrow be a burden and a curse.
Our lives are 'complete' already, we just don't know it. Take it from an old co-dependant, if you need someone in your life to make it complete then what is really missing from your life isn't something that another person can fill.
Sorry Rae, but that is the cold honest truth.

Id just like to add however on a more positive note, within ourselves for the ppl who find it yes we are born complete. But say for me personally and id say for a lot of other ppl too, my 'life' would not be complete without meeting the right woman with a future in marriage & continuing on with a family at some stage.
If you’re on a good wicket you'll grow and change together without any drastic misfortunes. (I mean who doesn't have a problem or two anyway hehe) I spose it all starts with the seed, as you say being born complete thus finding what you really want then making it obvious from the start with the person you meet. Obviously know who you're with and If you set the concrete early to your foundation its less likely for a sudden crisis to destroy your dreams.
'Ive' always felt complete and it took me sometime to find it. Then somewhere in my story I met the one naturally clicks. Ive been on some crazy adventures and we share the same dreams for a brighter future which does makes my life complete.
So even though (for the ppl who get it) we don’t need a girl/guy to fit the puzzle piece to yourself, it may fit the piece to your life so id have to go with yes. And even on another note, you can find more about yourself along the way which is definitely a bonus for me.
Dream big, play your cards right and don’t settle for less.
